KBO, the National Museum of Korea Foundation, and PRO-SPECS have collaborated to present a new value where Korean aesthetics and the spirit of sport converge. We have reinterpreted traditional motifs embodying fortune, luck, and unity into a modern sportswear design. We now introduce the uniform, perfected as 'A Heritage for Today'.

Magpie and Tiger, Hojakdo

나쁜 기운을 막는 호랑이와 기쁜 소식을 전하는 까치를 함께 그린 조선 후기 민화입니다.
나쁜 일은 막고 좋은 일만 가득하기를 바라는 선조들의 염원이 담겨있어 오늘날까지도 가장 사랑받는 상징 중 하나로 여겨집니다.
KBO와 국립박물관문화재단, 프로-스펙스는 대한민국 야구 대표팀을 향한 새로운 염원을 더했습니다. 대표팀의 선전을 기원하는 진심 어린 마음을 담아, 작호도의 의미를 가장 현대적인 디자인으로 새롭게 풀어냈습니다.

The design is inspired by the 'Jakho-do,' a traditional folk painting from the late
Joseon dynasty. It features a powerful tiger to repel misfortune alongside a magpie, a bearer of good news. This combination embodies the heartfelt wishes of our
ancestors for a life filled with joy, making it one of Korea's most cherished symbols even today.
To this powerful emblem, KBO, the National Museum of Korea Foundation, and PRO-SPECS have added a new aspiration. With wholehearted support for the national
baseball team's success, we have reimagined the profound meaning of the Jakho-do through a striking, modern design.
